Position: Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist

Julia Rutherfoord Architect is seeking a talented Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Umhlanga studio.
Offering a highly personal, client-focused service, the practice works across all SACAP project stages with a hands-on approach from concept through to project completion. The successful candidate will play an integral role within a collaborative team.

Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Working knowledge of presentation in Twin motion, Adobe Illustrator (experience with the broader Adobe Suite advantageous)
- Strong technical drawing and detailing ability
- Sound knowledge of SANS and local authority requirements
- Basic understanding of structural principles
- Ability to work across all project stages
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- You will be expected to have experience in and be willing to work throughout all 6 SACAP work stages
Advantageous:

- Prepare working drawings and submission packages (estate and local authority)
- Contribute to presentations and visual material
- Collaborate closely within a hands-on studio environment
