Position: Architectural Technologist

Requirements

What You’ll Do

As an Architectural Technologist, you will:

Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings using Revit.
Produce coordinated construction documentation.
Work closely with architects and project teams to deliver high-quality design outcomes.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant National Building Regulations and SANS 10400 standards.
Assist in resolving technical design challenges and detailing.
Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with consultants.
Support site inspections and respond to technical queries during construction where required.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

National Diploma in Architectural Technology
B.Tech in Architectural Technology
Bachelor of Architectural Studies (or equivalent)

Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.

Skills & Competencies

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
Strong technical detailing and documentation skills.
Excellent understanding of building construction methods and detailing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage deadlines while working collaboratively within project teams.
Site experience will be advantageous.
