Position: Professional Architect

Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Position Type: Full-Time  
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Professional Architect to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, documentation, coordination, and delivery of projects across a variety of sectors, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and the broader project team from inception through to completion. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to exciting projects while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage architectural projects through all project stages.
  • Develop creative and practical design solutions.
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and contractors.
  • Attend site meetings and undertake site inspections as required.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate project teams and deliverables.
  • Assist with contract administration and project close-out processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice.

Requirements
  • Registered Professional Architect with SACAP.
  • Relevant qualification in Architecture.
  • Strong design, technical, and project management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
